BackWoods Design Company was started by me, Kelly Hodges. I was planning for my own shabby chic wedding and planned to do it all myself. I had a very small budget and a short amount of time to get it all together. I saw many ideas that I liked but could not justify spending that kind of money. I hand made all of my decorations that I found for a fraction of the price it would have been to buy and it looked stunning.

I realized at that point that there must be many brides to be that were in my same shoes so I started a rental line of wedding decorations. I had people asking me to please come and set up my rental items so it would look just as good as mine, so I did.

Afetr a few of those I decided that I should get paid for my work and after many bumps in the road created this business.... my business. I have now 5 assistants, offer packages from bridal showers to bachelorette parties, our rental line and of coarse our wedding packages. We offer something for everyone and every budget. I love what I have created with my business and seeing it grow is the best feeling in the world.

We believe that professional help shouldnt be a luxury so we offer many solutions for any budget. We offer several of wedding packages and a rental line. There is something for everyone.
